Duild Your List with Facebook without Spamming

Social media is a marketer's goldmine. It's mostly free to use and it doesn't take a lot of effort to get your desired results… well most of the time. The results I'm chatting about here is getting leads and turning those leads into paying customers. Because there are so many platforms to choose from I've decided to narrow my talk down to Facebook and as you read I'll disclose with you some tips that will pull you from the ranks of Spammer to Marketeer.

I've seen so various people trying the Facebook marketing methodology, but I'm not sure that they are seeing the outcome they want. Most of the so called Facebook marketers out there are really not marketing at all; they are just spamming. Plastering their adds and businesses all over the place and on walls to seek to get as many people to see it, whether you want to or not.

This is why this tactic to marketing on Facebook is not sound:
1. This destroys your credibility.
2. Most people don't care what you have to offer.

This is by no means an exhaustive list but I wanted to share it with you because as I use Facebook everyday and I see this junk on my wall and I get so aggravated that somebody that I do not even know has the nerve to place their face, phone number, and "Amazing Chance" without even asking me if I wanted to even be knowledgeable of its existence!

I'm so happy I got that off my chest. If you do that and you are reading this, just STOP THIS INSTANT, you are only hurting yourself.

Instead do this…

Facebook marketing starts and ends with you. You being a nice, genuine personality that somebody, anybody would like to dialogue with, connect with, share and hopefully if you've played your cards right, purchase from. This is very unproblematic to do, it's all about being who you are and sharing who you'd like to become; even who you are becoming.

People like to watch people, especially attractive people, and if you are authentic and remarkable and you can add worth to other people's lives… they will LOVE you. They will keep an eye on you, they will see you as an expert and acquire (buy) your suggestions.

So as you are relating with folks on Facebook take time to actually talk to the people you ask to be friends. Be certain that when you talk you are not spammy (you know what I mean), usually they will ask you what you do, then there is your chance to "pitch". But right off the bat, focus on them and how you can help them. I guarantee, when you focus on truly connecting with and reaching out to know your prospects, before you ask them for money, your success will grow exponentially.

Here is an extra quick and easy tip. Take some time and form a group and ask people to sign up. Do not use this group to spam your business either… okay maybe a little, but there's a way to do it that is so efficient and people will not be offended that you presented something to them.

As you have been adding value to your members' lives and actually showing them that you are involved in their happiness and accomplishment, because you are, then in you updates or email blasts reveal how you life is better because of your _.

I am sure you get the idea. You can do this on a group level because you are the one who created the group and every person in your group is a lead for you. This is advantageous because a usual person on Facebook is restricted to how many friends you can have and the number of people you can email. But as a leader of a group your growth is unrestricted.

Keep your mindset as others-focused. You may think that if you take care of yourself you will be fine but actually that's not the case; if you can help others reach their dreams and aspisations you will find yourself realizing your own quicker than you think.
