Jim Coffman: Former Bartender/Welder Taking The MLM Industry By Storm

It's tough to think that not so long as a year back I, Jim Coffman, was commercial welder and didn't even know what MLM/Network Marketing was, and now can't even picture how my life would be without it. I've detained a few jobs throughout my adult life. Direct sales, I was a bartender/bouncer in a small amount of local watering holes and a commercial welder for about six years.

This is what happened. I was suddenly let go from my previous employment as a welder and I did not have any idea which way my life was headed. Although those jobs provided for me financially, I was still never truly happy with my situation and knew that I had to make several changes if I was going to discover genuine happiness. The quick version of this story, it turned out that losing that job would be one of the best things that ever happened to me. (aside from my 2 gorgeous daughters of course) That's the time I threw up my hands and had to ask myself, What can I do to prevent this from ever happening all over again?

That is at what time I got on the internet and began to look for some answers. I was looking to return to direct sales since I was skilled at it and very prosperous when I was doing it. I saw an ad on Craigslist that read Be Your Own Boss. Who doesn't that sound good to? That is at what time I was introduced to the MLM/Network Marketing industry, signed up right away and started a home based business. Now this is when this story takes a terrible turn.

I was thinking this would be easy because the company I partnered up with had products that the best part of individuals need and my upline was incredibly successful in the way that they were forming their business. I was hype! That could not have been farther than the truth. I was failing miserably, thinking about quitting and going out to locate another job. I knew that there had to be some answers because of all the results that I could noticeably see that others were having in the Network Marketing industry. So back to the internet I went once more. I started seeing figures everywhere that over 95% of the folks in the Network Marketing industry put more cash into their home based business opportunity than they ever get back in return, go out of business and give up within their first 90 days of launching their opportunity. What did I get myself into? I kept reading on and established why this was going on and it was as if this guy was speaking precisely to me!

He said that the grounds that so many give up in this magnificent industry is because that when the greater part of individuals sign up that their upline will advise them to compose a list of your friends and family, start using the 3 foot rule, posting flyers, holding meetings and cold calling. Yep, that's precisely what they told me to do! So I kept on reading and was introduced to the concept of attraction marketing and that the most effective tool that can be used for building a Network Marketing business these days was the internet. By the way, I didn't even know how to copy and paste! LOL!

I was VERY LUCKY to partner up with a number of REAL mentors and top producers in the industry that took me by the hand was able to show me how to fabricate a lucrative business online. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those guys that thinks that the internet is the only way to fabricate a Network Marketing business. There are people that build very profitable organizations doing the belly to belly thing but it wasn't working for me. There are folks that struggle for YEARS before they are able to find prosperity in the MLM industry so I deem myself incredibly lucky to have found this at such an early stage in my brand new career.

They said there are two words in Network Marketing,(DUH!) the crucial word being MARKETING! You must be able to market effectively to have true success when structuring a business online they said. When you understand how to put the concepts of attraction marketing in position, you no longer have to chase individuals and try to convince them to join you in your business. They come to you and give you their information wanting you to contact them.

Long story short, they trained me how to brand myself, put a system in place that in turn enables me to create an endless amount of leads every day to assemble MY OWN list and convert those leads into team members and paying customers. Even more important, the expertise of how to now pass along that value onto others that are searching for the answers that are desired by so many in the industry. The best part of people do not care about your products, company or compensation plan. We all have them! People join people. They want to know if YOU will be able to get THEM results and now that response for me is an astounding YES!
