Pre Launch MLM - 5 Key Points to Evaluate Before Getting Involved

I know you have probably seen these headlines before:

These are all headlines of emails that I have received in the last week, and the hype is usually just that, HYPE! Let me just say right away that I don’t necessarily have a problem with pre launch mlm tactics being used, because getting in on the ground floor of a good product, or company can be very lucrative.

My objective here is to give you 5 keys that will help you evaluate an opportunity and make sure its right for you, and to make sure that you are getting involved with something that will live up to its claims.

Key #1 – Evaluate The Company Management

This is very important! Always evaluate the management behind a company and verify that they have integrity. There are companies that get going and believe it or not they are started by people that are really just out to make a quick buck and run.

You can save yourself from this heartache and pain by doing your due diligence on each of the board members, and management. They must sell themselves to you, before you will sell for them. Google each persons name, and understand what their backgrounds are, and what brought them to this point.

Key #2 – Timing

Who is your target market? Will they buy what you have? What is the forecast regarding the trends of this industry? These are just a few of the questions you will want to ask yourself and that of your company. Timing is everything when it comes to business. In real estate its location, location, location! Well in business its timing, timing, timing.

If you can answer these questions positively and honestly then your pre launch mlm may be a good option for you. Just stay honest and put aside all of the hype usually associated with the launch of a new MLM company.

Key #3 – The Product

What you have to ask yourself is this, “WILL PEOPLE BUY WHAT I HAVE TO MARKET”! This is by far one of the most important factors in the choosing of your company. I have seen companies that come out with this “Amazing Product” and yet I can go down to Wal-Mart and get the same thing for a 1/3 of the price.

You must verify that your product or service gives more value than what the customer is paying for or receiving to even be competitive in the marketplace. You see if you have a product or service that provides value way beyond what the customer is paying, you will have a long term sustainable business. Also, evaluate the uniqueness of the product, as this will help you determine the long term viability of what your offering.

Key #4 – The Compensation Plan

Simply put, are you going to be paid good for your time and effort, period! This is important, because most people will quit very quickly if they do not get some money in their pocket right away. Make sure you have solid compensation plan that rewards you for your efforts.

There is a lot more you can do to understand all the different compensation plans out there, just go to Google and evaluate the different plans out there. Being clear on how your going to be paid will help alleviate the confusion, and will help you in presenting your opportunity to others.

Key #5 – Marketing System

This is probably the most important of all. If you don’t have a way to get your message out there, you won’t make any money. Most companies have a system in place that starts people out by talking to their friends, family, and co-workers. Now this is not a bad thing, and you should start out by doing this. But what are you going to do once you have exhausted your warm Market?

This is where most distributors usually throw in the towel. The simple fact is that most people after they go through their warm market are now dead in the water. Evaluate the long term viability of what system your pre launch mlm is offering (which is usually a belly to belly approach) and mesh it with an Internet based lead generation system that will bring you leads, money to fund your business, and a training platform on the latest marketing strategies that work in today’s marketplace.
